Solar Shades
Solar shades are a modern and functional window solution that allow you to retain your view while reducing glare and sun damage.
Solar shades are specifically designed to filter sunlight and noticeably lower the temperature of any room they're in.
Through blocking harmful UV rays, they also reduce the damage done to furniture, artwork, carpet, hardwood floors, and skin from direct sunlight.
Solar shades help by increasing UV protection and insulation, which in turn keeps your home or business cooler in the summer and warmer in the winter.

Dual Shades
Elan was very professional and patience and helped me a lot.
We had to make a compromise about one of the shades that was not really what I wanted and he was very correct on solving that problem.
I was very pleased with his work.
Well done Elan!
The most commonly used combinations are a 10% solar shade (or a light filtering Zebra shade) with a Blackout shade behind it.
When doing double shades, it's best to motorize the blackout shade since it will be more difficult to reach.
Keep in mind the depth of the window and overall size of the window effects the way double shades can be mounted and made.

He was very accommodating and patient as I have a very strict Condo Assn and they made life very difficult to get anything done.
I also broke my foot in the middle of the job and he was considerate of my time schedule since I could not drive.
And the blinds look amazing and updated.

Testimonials
After a couple months of working with The Shade Store, I contacted Fifty Shades and Blinds for an alternative quote and am so happy I did!
The owner came the next day to my house to take measurements, and brought samples of fabrics and blinds.
He provided a great consultation with recommendations of fabrics and colors that would work well, and his quote came in at a fraction of the cost of the Shade Store, making it an easy purchase decision.
The blinds were ready in a week and he installed them the next day.
