Bill Moreland has been involved in custom woodworking since his high school days.
After spending some years as a stock broker, he returned to his roots, purchasing The Shutter Shop on Brownlee Street in 1972, with his wife Norma joining on a full-time basis a month later.
Moreland Custom Shutters is truly a family business in all respects.
In addition to the second generation of owners, we also have employees representing two generations of their own family.
This is even carried over to our customers, whose loyalty is such that we have designed and installed shutters for up to three generations of a single family.
